** ATTENTION **

First Generation Limitations:

Due to restricted access to certain functions on other mobile phones, the first generation of Data Mopp-Up (DMU) is currently limited to Android Mobile Devices.

The first generation of Data Mopp-Up works only with the following email service providers: Gmail and Outlook. Un-officially, DMU can work with other email service providers.

T Hopefully, our second generation of Data Mopp-Up will be able to work with Apple phones and a wider range of email service providers.

Thank you for your patients.

FEATURES

Desta Communications, LLC is a communication data solution company and the owner of the Data Mopp-Up application, a.k.a. “DMU.” DMU converts the received contents of both Text Messages and Emails into data that can be stored in a database table on a mobile device. Each received Text Message and Email is individually stored in a record in a table in a database. The records containing the contents of each received communication can be uniquely manipulated by the user to arrange their content into easily understood packets.

A single display for both text messages and email that can be grouped into random relationship. The user of the app can create relationship between any number of email and text messages regardless of their origin. The ability to create relationships between seemly unrelated communications can tell a tale that may not be immediately obvious at first glance if the emails and text messages are spread out over time and stored in different locations.

  • 1. Text Messaging Application.

Data Mopp-Up (DMU) is an Enhanced text messaging alternative to the standard text messaging app that comes standard on a mobile device. The users of DMU can send, receive text messages, and review text messages stored on their mobile device. DMU also offers a suite of enhanced features to its users.
  • 2. A Common Viewing Screen for Text Messages and Received Emails.

Normally, both Emails and Text Messages are handled by two distinct applications on a mobile device, one application for handling Text Messages and another application for handling Emails. Data Mopp-Up (DMU) collects all emails and text messages received by a mobile device and stores them in a common database table on the mobile device. Prior to DMU one had to use two separate applications to access emails and text messages, now a user need only use one application: DMU. DMU can both send and receive text messages and receive email messages (note: future version of DMU will also send Email). Since each message is stored individually in a record in a database table, the user can view both email and text messages on the screen of a single application by strolling through the records in the table.
  • 2. Ability to Do Extensive Complex Searches of Received Text Messages and Emails.

Data Mopp-Up enables the user to simultaneously conduct extensive searches of both Emails and Text Messages that are stored in the database table on the mobile device. The user can search their store of messages using a variety of criteria that are not available on either of the standard email or text messaging application of a mobile device.
  • 3. Ability to Create Relations between Any Number of Received Emails and Text Messages. Data Mopp-Up enables a user to create a relational linkage between any of the messages stored on the mobile device: Emails or Text Messages regardless of origin. The ability to create linkage will enable the user to organize their mobile device stored communications and give them greater meaning and value: enabling the user to link messages that they believe are important to one another.

  • 4. Ability to Capture first impressions or notation of a matter that is discussed in the Stored Message.

Data Mopp-Up enables the user to enter notes on each message received or sent from the mobile device. Each note is stored in the same database record as the text and email message. This enables the user to see any notes they previously entered regarding a specific message whenever they review the message.
  • 5. Set Alert reminders of any message stored on the user device.

Data Mopp-Up allows its users to set an alert flag on any message stored on the mobile device, at a future date and time of their choosing an alarm will sound. This will allow users to re-focus their attention on a specific message at a future time of their choosing.
  • 6. Translate Foreign Language Messages into English.

Data Mopp-Up translator function can translate over 80 languages into English. Data Mopp-Up on user command will translate received text or email from a foreign language into English.
  • 7. Backup and Recovery of stored messages.

Data Mopp-Up can generate a copy of the stored database in an Exported file (Backup), the Backup file is external to the application. The Export Copy of the store database can be placed on an external storage device (flash drive) or remain on the mobile device in general storage. The Data Mopp-Up application can also import the Export Copy back into the Application (Recovery).
